Requirements

A marketing intern should have a strong customer service and client focus. Research and good communication skills. Confidentiality is a must. Prior experience with law firm marketing or student working towards marketing degree is a plus but not required.

Location: Long Island - Begins: Fall 2016

Description The primary tasks of this position will be to grow the number of likes, reach, engagement, and leads of a law firm on its Twitter and Facebook pages. There will be a small budget for Facebook ads, but this role will in part be to identify strategic partners, and connect with them online while growing our internet reach. Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts. Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog). Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.

Requirements

Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+Local, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. Maintains excellent writing and language skills. Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the law firm’s field. Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video formats. Prior experience with law firm marketing or student working towards marketing degree is a plus but not required.

Description The primary tasks of this position will be to grow the law firm's outreach and publicity in the community. We are about to start implementing a comprehensive marketing and PR plan and are looking for an intern to support us in this process.

Responsibilities

•Research media opportunities, relevant studies, events, community hubs and more.
•Create content (copy, graphics, video etc.) for our website, email updates, and social media communication.
•Create print collateral.
•Support the firm's overal public relations efforts.
•Other Duties as Assigned.

Requirements

•Relevant education and/or experience in marketing, social media, public relations, and research.
•Comfortable collaborating via online media (e.g. online file sharing, virtual meetings, etc.).
•Reliable internet access.
•Ready to take initiative and responsibility to complete projects.
•Commit to at least 5 hours per week.
